Apply Now to Present at Aperture 2022 SEL Vision Summit

Virtual professional development event takes place November 3, 2022

Aperture Education, the leading provider of research-based social and emotional learning (SEL) assessments for K-12 schools, is accepting presentation proposals through May 13 for its 2022 SEL Vision Summit. The virtual professional development event takes place Nov. 3, 2022 and focuses on the theme “Leading a Legacy.” Aperture is seeking presentation proposals focusing on SEL best practices, current research, or testimonials applicable to the K-12 and out-of-school time space. For information about the Summit and to submit a proposal, visit https://bit.ly/3OpqFUh.

The Summit offers four tracks: K-8, 9-12, Educators, and District Leaders. Each presentation will give attendees insight into the future of SEL as it related to the designated track.

“Our SEL Vision Summit is a great opportunity for those who are championing social and emotional learning to share their ideas to inspire others,” said Jessica Adamson, CEO of Aperture Education. “We welcome presentation proposals that teach, engage, and energize and that will help to further the important work our attendees are doing to support the social and emotional development of both students and adults.”

The SEL Vision Summit brings together teachers, school and district leaders, school counselors, out-of-school time providers, and industry experts. The Summit’s theme, “Leading a Legacy,” reflects its focus on how providing foundational SEL creates a legacy for students to succeed. Whether students go straight to college or enter the workforce or military, social and emotional skills can help them reach their goals.

The SEL Vision Summit is one of many ways Aperture supports educators, administrators, parents, and out-of-school time programs in promoting SEL in classrooms and at home. The company also offers the EdSERT professional development program for teachers, hosts webinars throughout the year, and offers free downloadable resources for educators and families.
